"End of the Trail" by J.E. Fraser

This iconic Western artwork was sculpted by James Earle Fraser (1876-1953).  The sculpture depicts the raw emotion of an Indian fighter with his horse, both exhausted after years of a losing battle to hold back White settlers and their army. They have truly reached the end of their trail.  The horse stands on a rectangular rocky bronze base with nice detailing.  Please be sure to click on the "View More Images" link above to see additional views of this sculpture.

We cast End of the Trail in our own California art foundry using over 29 lbs. of pure bronze.  The sculpture boasts excellent detail and has an authentic patina finish.  The bronze is mounted onto a oval-shaped, black marble base, stands 21" high by 15" wide, and is signed by Fraser in the base.
