"Theodore Roosevelt Plaque" by J.E. Fraser

Famed Western artist James Earle Fraser sculpted this admiring portrait of Theodore Roosevelt in 1920.  Below President Roosevelt's profile is his quote, "AGGRESSIVE FIGHTING FOR THE RIGHT IS THE NOBLEST SPORT THE WORLD AFFORDS."  Please be sure to click on the "View More Images" link above to see additional views.

 

We have cast this Roosevelt relief plaque in our own California art foundry using 13 lbs. of pure bronze.  It is finished with a rich patina in tones of brown. 

 

The relief measures 12½" high by 8½" wide.  It is pre-wired on the reverse side for easy hanging on a wall, or it is also very suitable to be displayed in a bookcase or on a desktop.
